Need Books to Read

Personally, there is almost nothing worse than spending good money on books that suck. I am fresh out of books at the moment, having finished two Janet Evanovich books back to back. Please send your suggestions.

could somebody read Travels in the Scrpitorium by Paul Auster and please tell me what it's about. It's a very good read, and quick (145 pages). I thought I had it figured out two times only to realize I need another reader to bounce ideas off of. Very unique book.
