Avocado Ranch Dressing

Share it :

A creamy salad dressing that can also be used as  a dip.

1.In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup milk with 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to curdle slightly. This will create a buttermilk substitute.

2.In a blender or food processor, combine the avocado, the milk mixture, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Blend until smooth.

3.Add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and Dash. Blend again until well combined.

4.Season with salt, pepper and additional spices to taste. Blend one more time to ensure everything is mixed evenly.

5.If the dressing is too thick, you can thin it out with a little more of the milk mixture until you reach your desired consistency.

6.Transfer the dressing to a jar or container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Let sit overnight if possible to enhance flavor.
